Dr Robert Anthony’s Zero Resistance Weight Release program is not like your average fat loss system. As a psychologist and certified hypnotist, Dr. Anthony asserts that the changes that have occurred over the last few decades in the average weight of someone living in the western world are more to do with psychological factors than physical ones. We found this argument intriguing; after all, haven’t people just gotten fatter due to worsening dietary standards and increasingly sedentary lifestyles? So curious were we that we decided that we definitely had to buy and examine this product.
As it turns out, the program concentrates on the emotional context of weight problems. We are told that our subconscious mind has more to do with how much we weigh than anything else. It’s hard to disagree with this statement, as it’s obviously the case that who we are on the inside defines what we look like on the outside: it determines the way we dress, whether or not we have tattoos, and even if we are inclined to dye our hair blue! The problem when it comes to weight is that the subconscious mind is a place where emotions rule, leaving very little room for logic. Why did people in the west alter their eating habits so drastically in the latter part of the twentieth century? We all know it happened and that it made everyone fat (if you’re not convinced just look at historical obesity statistics), but what was the root cause? In the introduction to his program, Dr. Anthony raises a number of compelling arguments indicating that excessive body fat levels in people have a psychosocial cause in the vast majority of cases, arguments which unfortunately we are unauthorised to reprint here.
The heart of the program involves using hypnosis to align your conscious and subconscious minds to work in harmony for the purpose of weight loss. The doctor writes that it is only when there is a gap between your conscious and subconscious minds that ‘effort’ and ‘willpower’ need enter the equation. We’re not psychologists here, and we can’t evaluate these ideas scientifically, but it does stand to common sense reason: most of us are in a situation where we want to lose weight consciously, but subconsciously we just want to sit around and eat cake! It takes solid and consistent willpower to avoid all of the things that prevent us from losing weight (and even gaining more weight!), and to actually do all those things we don’t want to do, such as eating greens and exercising, which cause us to reach our conscious goal of losing weight and achieving greater health. This continual application of willpower is a real struggle for anyone, and the fact is that it is simply too mentally taxing for most of us. You could think of the physical equivalent of this struggle as being a ten year old trying to lift a 300lb weight; he can grapple with it for as long as he wants but he’s just not going to succeed. By aligning the conscious and subconscious minds, the ‘struggle’ is completely removed, and there is no longer a need for ‘willpower’ and ‘effort’, thereby allowing you to lose weight with ‘zero resistance’.
The release of this technology to the general public represents a revolution in the weight loss industry. While there have been other programs which claimed to be based around hypnotism in the past, they focused on motivation rather than effective hypnotism. This is the first release by a certified mental health professional, and it’s a highly accomplished one at that. The potential long term health benefit a person can gain from this technology is immeasurable, and because of this we have concluded that it deserves the top spot in our ‘Best health investments’ list. Sorry Fat Loss Formula, but you’ve finally been beaten!
